It is one of the most biodiverse marine regions on the planet, home to whale sharks, giant manta rays, sea lions, whales, dolphins, turtles, and thousands of other species. Jacques Cousteau, the world’s most famous oceanographer, called it “The Aquarium of the World” due to the extraordinary concentration of life found in the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean—two seas that are home to around 39% of all marine mammal species on Earth. Without a doubt, this is a unique place to consciously connect with the oceans and marine life, guided by respect and a commitment to conservation.
