PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS

This is the ONLY expedition that includes professionally edited photographs.
We believe high quality should define every memory,

and there is no better way to cherish this experience than with top-resolution imagery.

EDUCATIONAL TOURISM

You will learn about whale migrations

their behaviors, and their vital importance to our oceans—and, fundamentally

how to connect responsibly with the sea and its marine wildlife!.

HYDROPHONE

We carry a hydrophone on board

to detect and record the songs emitted by these marine mammals.

This is a unique opportunity to connect with the whales through the power of their sounds.

WHICH WHALE SPECIES CAN WE SEE IN LOS CABOS?

HUMPBACK WHALE

• Acrobatic behavior (breaching, tail slaps, and flipper slapping).

• Complex songs used for communication and courtship.

• Exceptionally long pectoral fins (the longest of any marine animal).

• Unique fluke patterns used for photo-identification.

• Long-distance migrations between feeding and breeding grounds.

GRAY WHALE

• Robust body characterized by mottled skin and parasite scars.

• One of the longest migrations of any mammal on Earth.

• Benthic feeder: dives to filter and strain sediment from the seafloor.

• Highly social mother-calf pairs, famously trusting in breeding lagoons.

• Less acrobatic, showcasing a generally calmer and more deliberate behavior.
